Valley United Way Begins Special Needs Grant Process

Share |

Valley United Way is now accepting applications for its Special Needs Grant program for 2013-2014.

The Special Needs Grant program is designed to provide funding for special needs or new programs that may arise for an agency that would not be funded through an agency's normal budget. The funding for this program comes from donors who have expressed an interest in funding areas of importance to them including health, education & graduation, income, elder care basic needs, youth & recreation, housing and shelter, etc. These grants are generally smaller in nature though the pool of funding this year for education, basic needs, elder care and abuse and neglect is over $5,000 each.

The total pool of funding available this year for all issues is approximately $45,000.

Agencies must request the application from the E-cimpact home page and associate the program for which they are applying to the application. All applications are due by the end of the day on November 29.
