In October, Hubbell kicked off their campaign with an all staff Fall Cider & Donuts party.  Staff was invited into the cafeteria for their special treat and a presentation from Campaign Coordinator and United Way Board Member John McFarland.  The presentation also included some encouragement from new CEO David Nord.  United Way staff spoke about what is going on in the community and brought along Shaye Roscoe, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club and teen member of the Club Freddy Dapp.  Freddy stole the show with his heart-warming story about how his first step into the Club was to fulfill community service hours and he never imagined that just one step would change his life.  Also this year, Hubbell started the Change for Change program.  Staff was divided into four team and they had a change war.  The goal was to collect as much change in your teams jar and to give other teams negative points by throwing in paper money.  All donations will be given to Valley United Way and the winning team will receive a free lunch.  Hubbell wrapped up their campaign with a Halloween Party and costume contest.
